1. Apologies

Chris Bateman (Acting Pony Head Coach) sent his apologies that he was not able to attend the meeting.
Robert Hodgson (Member at Large) sent his apologies that he was not able to attend the meeting.

2. AGM - Date & Location

Voting Results DOS suggested AGM should take place on the 24th March 06 at Bow Brick Hill Pavilion.

4. Financial - Accounts

Estelle Sherman has finished putting the accounts onto Sage, with monies as follows:

This is allowing for £300 being paid in 2006 for registration but not allowing for £70 for the Envoy from 2005, (The envoy cost was reduced from £150 to £100, but we have overpaid our registration fee by £30)

5. Financial - Fees

Voting Results It was agreed to adopt KS's proposal for the new fees.

6. Financial - Subs

Voting Results Subs will be collected via Standing Orders (unless you want to pay in full by the 1st April) with the 1st Payment due on the 1st April followed by 5 further payments.

All subs will include a Baseball Cap and T-Shirt, with Club Logo & Colours

7. Uniforms

KS is still awaiting the outcome of a recent request for samples for the new team uniform, however if the new uniform does not arrive in time, then KS will order 15 x Navy Uniform Jerseys from Uniform Express inline with the Youth Shirts.

8. Spring Training

Spring Training will start on the 1st Friday after half term (TBC) at Walton High Sports Hall from 7.30 to 9.30.

The cost will £12 for the 6 weeks (the equivalent of £2 per session) payable at the 1st Session.

KS reported we have struggled to get an indoor venue so late in the year, but KS & RN will be coaching at Walton High this year they have been able to secure Walton High on a trade-off (free) for their time.

Voting Results The committee recognised that both KS & RN charge the schools for coaching and have decided to waive their subs (Perrie & Rob) for this year.

9. Recruitment - Business Cards

Voting Results DOS said that she was happy with the format.

10. Recruitment - Post Card

TD asked what format they would be taking KS, referred back to his email stating that as we would now be looking at a Post Card in favour of a Flyer then he would again redesign it and send around by email for comments.

11. Recruitment - Newport Pagnell

TD said that she currently publishes a 45 page Full Colour Booklet that is distributed for free in Newport Pagnell and has offered a free A5 size advert promoting baseball in the area.

TD is to produce the advert and advise the committee via email for approval before publication, the committee thanked Tara for kind gesture. TD/0601-01

12. BBF/BSUK AGM

Contents of the BBF/BSUK Meeting have been sent out to each committee member.

Voting Results It was agreed that travelling expenses to the meetings in Leeds will be covered by the Club providing receipts are submitted.

13. AOB - New Uniform Jerseys

During the AGM evening if the new uniform has been confirmed then the auctioning of shirt numbers will take place during the evening.

Numbers will start from 01 to 99 (one set of numbers for the whole club), the starting bid being £1 and the maximum bid being £15, anyone paying (that is payment at KS's house) the maximum bid before the night will secure their number on a first come first serve basis.

Anyone who is happy to have whatever shirt number the club chooses will not have to pay for their number.

The shirt holder will be offered their number again every year for the maximum bid, until such times they do not wish to renew.

14. AOB - Club Team Names; RN/0508-02

RN said that he still thinks that the club should adopt team names, whilst the club name BaseballMK is good, each team should have an individual name, the rest of the committee said as long all the intended names had a group association, and it was agreed that something would be drawn up to be presented at the AGM.
