Warhawks win regular season double header

BaseballMK Warhawks got back to league business this weekend and hosted the London Mets Sluggers.

Game 1 saw new pitcher Chris Perry at the mound followed by closing pitcher Brendan Sheets to finish the game with a 10 – 12 win to the Warhawks. Game 2 brought out the pitching duo of new signing Josh Colangelo and team veteran Perrie Sherman to get a final score of 11 – 14 win to BaseballMK Warhawks.

Both games saw some nice defensive play by newbie’s Thomas Thurkettle, James Knowles and Jacob Colangelo. At bat saw CJ hit his first outfield line-drive to allow two runs to his and the team’s score.

Next week sees the Warhawks at home again to the London Mets Stealers.
