BaseballMK Parent Reminders

Thank you for attending our games, the coaching staff and players appreciate your support, however, every season we need to send out a reminder of what we expect from our supporters.

Teams win as a team, and should also be beaten as a team.
No single play, event or player ever lose a game of baseball.

Please refrain from: -
1) Shouting at the umpire in an attempt to help them.
2) Highlighting mistakes or weaknesses of any player (including your own).
3) Coaching players on game days.

Learning to lose is an important part of youth sport.
We expect all parents to provide a good example for their children.

The team will always include a number of players that are developing for future years.
Please give them the same courtesy your child received when they were learning how to play baseball.

Parents need to be positive, remember the children are supposed to be having fun.
Perhaps more knowledgeable supporters could help other supporters by teaching them more about the rules of the game.

If any parent continually ignores these parental reminders then the coaching staff will be forced to exclude them from playing areas on game days.
Playing areas are defined as: -
1) The field of play
2) Team dugouts (where the coaches and players sit, whilst not on the field of play)
3) Behind the backstop fence (where game officials sit).
